We, that is Darren, Rick and I, went to London and tooled around for a bit. It was a lot of fun. London is pretty and busy and vital in a way that no American city is (even you, New York). Shit, the small town I live in has 10,000 fewer people than Cedar Rapids, IA and is hundreds of times more vital. American is one of the stupidest fucking countries on earth. It really does seem like there’s a conspiracy to keep everybody stupid and focused only on the US. If we’d looked at how successful cities were built world-wide, our places would function so much better. But, instead, we’re number 1, we’re number 1, we’re number 1. Sigh.
